Volunteer Teaching - Theology at Africa Nazarene University (ANU)

Position Overview

Africa Nazarene University (ANU) is seeking a qualified candidate to contribute to theological education as a volunteer teaching instructor.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of high-quality curriculum
• Review curriculum and course outlines and develop course and lesson plans
• Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
• Employ various teaching methods (field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, off-class activities, etc.) to support student learning and deliver course content
• Develop learning assessment plans
• Supervise and guide undergraduate and graduate students, internship, and research work
• Participate in departmental research and conduct research in specialist areas, publishing findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media
• Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
• Advise students on academic, career, and related issues as required
• Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, industrial linkages, and market outreach visits as needed
• Participate in departmental administrative, field operations, and programs

Academic and Professional Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field aligned with the program domain, OR
• Master's degree in a relevant field with PhD studies at the final stage (data collection phase), OR
• At least three (3) years of relevant industry experience
