Volunteer Teaching - Law at Africa Nazarene University (ANU)

About the Role

Africa Nazarene University seeks a dedicated individual to contribute to legal education and academic excellence in our Law program.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement high-quality curriculum aligned with program objectives
• Review and refine curriculum and course outlines; develop comprehensive course and lesson plans
• Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
• Employ diverse teaching methods including field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off-class activities to enhance student learning
• Develop and implement learning assessment plans
• Supervise and guide undergraduate and graduate students, including internship and research work
• Participate in departmental research and conduct research in specialist areas; publish findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media
• Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
• Advise students on academic, career, and related matters as required
• Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, and industrial linkages or market outreach visits as needed
• Participate in departmental administrative and field operations and programs

Required Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant legal field, OR
• Master's degree in a relevant field with enrollment as a PhD student at the final stage (data collection phase), OR
• At least three (3) years of relevant industry experience
