A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to serve as a Trainer in Analytical Chemistry and Science Laboratory Technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus
• Prepare teaching and learning materials and schemes of work
• Develop technical teaching and training materials
• Set and mark examinations and assignments
• Supervise trainees on attachment
• Instruct, guide, and evaluate trainees in practical exercises
• Report on progress and overall performance of individual trainees
• Participate in development of curriculum and training programmes
• Undertake and carry out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or equivalent

Additional Requirements

• Background training in Competency-Based Education Training (CBET)
• Pedagogy in Education and Training
• Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) Registration
• Registration with relevant professional bodies (where applicable)
