About the Role
A leading telecommunications provider is seeking a Trade Development Representative to focus on channel visitations and drive retailer awareness and sales turnaround on SIMs and Float. This role emphasizes visibility and merchandising at point of purchase for SSOs and T-Kash agents.

Kitale West, Kapenguria, and Iten
Job Purpose
To drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs and Float while maintaining visibility and merchandising standards at point of purchase for SSOs and T-Kash agents.
Key Responsibilities
- SSO and Agent Recruitment & Mapping – Effectively identify and recruit agents, targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores
- Call Rate – Visit SSOs and agents regularly using agreed route plans (beat plans)
- Training and Delivery of Business Tools – Provide all requisite tools for transactions at SSO and agent outlets and train SSOs and T-Kash agents on processes
- AML Training and Testing – Train agents on AML and SSOs on KYC processes in relation to SIMREG
- Float and Stock Cover and Sales – Monitor and enforce 1.5x stock rule for agents and ensure SSOs have adequate stock of SIMs for new registration and activations
- Merchandising – Develop and maintain merchandising standards by availing merchandising materials at SSOs and agent outlets
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in sales and distribution roles in FMCG or telecommunications
