## Title: Social Media Manager - Cosmetics Industry

Role Overview

Peoplelink Consultants Ltd seeks a dedicated Social Media Manager/Expert to develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for the cosmetics industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven experience in beauty brand marketing and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and other relevant platforms tailored specifically for the cosmetics industry
  • Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content including photos, videos, tutorials, and graphics that highlight product benefits and application techniques
  • Build and nurture an active online community by managing daily interactions, responding to inquiries and comments, and fostering brand loyalty with professionalism
  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with key beauty influencers and content creators to amplify brand messaging and reach
  • Monitor social media performance metrics using analytics tools, track KPIs, analyze campaign ROI, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Stay informed of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and beauty industry best practices to ensure all communication is compliant and professional

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation, with essential experience in the cosmetics or beauty sector
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating success in driving engagement and sales for a beauty brand, with deep familiarity with cosmetic product marketing nuances
  • Reliable and professional work ethic with excellent judgment in public communication and reputation management
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, along with a keen aesthetic eye and creative flair for visually appealing content
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), content editing software, and social media analytics platforms
  • Based in or near Nairobi, Kenya, with the ability to work from the office and attend local events and photoshoots as required
