Job Summary

Session Blue Contractors seeks a dedicated Site Health & Safety Officer to facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines and advise on minimizing hazards in upcoming projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines
• Conduct safety monitoring and ensure proper use of PPEs by workers
• Maintain comprehensive housekeeping and record keeping on site
• Provide PPEs and account for their usage
• Raise daily concerns regarding potential hazards identified on-site
• Maintain records of safety inventories
• Eliminate physical hazards through good housekeeping practices
• Keep daily records of workers and employees on site
• Write and submit daily, weekly safety and health reports, injury logs, and incident documentation
• Report on site compliance, incidents, and accidents on a daily basis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in construction site safety/health
• Proven competency in handling safety and health aspects on construction sites
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic training in First Aid or Fire Safety (advantageous)
• NEBOSH certificate (advantageous)
