Reporting To

Manager, Core Banking System Support

Job Purpose

To provide functional support, configuration, and maintenance of the Core Banking System (CBS) and its integrated applications, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and seamless business operations. The role is responsible for user support, system upgrades, change management, and coordination with vendors to maintain optimal system performance in line with the bank's service standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support of the Core Banking system and interdependent interfaces
  • Manage configuration, patches, updates, and upgrades of the Core Banking system
  • Assist with creation and management of user roles and profiles
  • Manage and support integration of the CBS with other interconnected applications
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve user and system issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
  • Create new branches, products, modules, charges, and features
  • Ensure timely execution of Flexcube EOD, EOM, and EOY processes for smooth business operations
  • Conduct daily system backups and prepare for unforeseen eventualities
  • Execute mock runs of EOM and EOY processes and share reports with business for verification before production runs
  • Ensure business reports and MIS needs are met
  • Document necessary procedures related to the Core Banking application for reference
  • Ensure all changes are tested, documented, and approved before moving to production
  • Review updates and conduct comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users before implementing changes to production
