Senior Accountant – Compilation & Reporting (Dutch Clients)

About the Role

As a Senior Accountant – Compilation & Reporting, you will work on-site in Nairobi as part of a dedicated team serving Dutch accounting firms. Most assignments are compilation (non-audit) engagements based on accounting records that are already prepared and internally reviewed. This is a production-oriented role in a structured, deadline-driven environment where you will work on multiple year-end files per week.

This position is ideal for audit professionals who want to apply their audit mindset in a practical, execution-focused environment and take ownership of delivering high-quality output efficiently and independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Review accounting records for completeness and accuracy
• Perform reconciliations, analytical procedures, and final adjustments (accruals, provisions, reclassifications)
• Prepare trial balances, lead schedules, and supporting working papers
• Prepare compilation (non-audit) financial statements for Dutch SME clients
• Prepare abridged financial statements for statutory filing in compliance with Dutch regulatory requirements
• Deliver efficient, standardized, and review-ready financial files

Position Details

• Location: Nairobi, Kenya (on-site)
• Contract Type: Full-time
• Salary: USD 800 – 1,000 per month (depending on experience)
