About the Role

Management University Of Africa seeks a dedicated individual to join the Campus Security Department. In this role, you will assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. You will gain hands-on experience in campus safety operations, emergency response procedures, surveillance monitoring, and administrative support related to security management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and analysing security alerts and incidents
• Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities
• Participate in security awareness and training initiatives
• Conduct research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends
• Assist with access control management and identity verification processes
• Support the security team in incident response and investigations
• Collaborate with ICT and compliance teams to ensure adherence to security best practices

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in ICT
• Relevant experience in physical security or a program related to criminology or security
• Basic understanding of information security principles, networks, and operating systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, or similar
