About the Role
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within the hardware retail sector. You will be responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and expanding market presence across assigned territories in Nairobi.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities in hardware shops and maintain a strong customer base within the assigned territory
- Present and list products in hardware shops to maximize visibility and sales
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Share market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
- Develop and execute a sales plan aligned with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with internal teams including logistics and accounts to ensure smooth order processing, product launches, and successful promotional campaigns
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of successful sales experience in trade with proven work experience
- Experience handling hardware shops and dealers is preferred
- Basic degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business, or related field
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
