Restaurant Supervisor at Strathmore University

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Restaurant Supervisor to assist the Restaurant Manager in ensuring the timely provision of food and beverages at the service area while maintaining a clean and professional environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision and management of waitstaff
• Assist the Restaurant Manager in preparing work schedules for staff and follow up on various staff issues
• Train, coach, and mentor casual employees
• Act as a communication liaison between management and waitstaff
• Maintain a positive working atmosphere where all team members feel comfortable and valued

Minimum Academic Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Production, Food and Beverage, or any other related field from a recognized institution
• Professional course in leadership (advantageous)

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory role within a busy environment
