Relationship Officer – Boda-Boda Loans (Sales & Collections) at Phoenix Capital

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. We're looking for a proactive Relationship Officer to handle both loan sales and repayment collections within the boda-boda sector. You'll be passionate about working with boda-boda riders and driving financial inclusion in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and onboard boda-boda riders through field visits and stage activations
• Explain loan products and support clients through the application process
• Monitor daily and weekly repayments and manage loan arrears
• Conduct field follow-ups, negotiate repayment plans, and reduce delinquency
• Build strong relationships with clients, stage leaders, and guarantors
• Provide customer education on loan terms, financial discipline, and credit health

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in microfinance, asset/boda-boda financing, or field sales
• Strong negotiation and customer relationship skills
• Ability to work in the field daily
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for customer service
• Knowledge of boda-boda operations in Kenya (highly preferred)
