## Title: Relationship Manager – Asset Financing

Job Purpose

Acquire, consolidate, and retain Asset Finance customers by developing and maintaining strong business relationships through regular, proactive, and value-adding contact. This role involves fully understanding customers' supply chain and management needs, and proactively providing appropriate and mutually beneficial financial solutions. The successful candidate will liaise with Branch Credit Management, Head Office Credit, Credit Analysts, SME Relationship Officers, Area Managers, Legal Department, Treasury, Investment Banking, Corporate, and other segment relationship staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and recruit Asset Finance customers within the designated region
  • Build, consolidate, and maintain excellent relationships with Asset Finance customers
  • Identify, establish, and maintain excellent relationships with Asset Finance Strategic Partners in respective regions
  • Undertake relationship reviews and assessments at least twice per year to determine and address:
    • Customer satisfaction
    • Risk and credit review
    • Product usage and cross-sell penetration
    • Needs gap analysis
    • Multi-banked situations, if applicable
  • Manage portfolio quality by overseeing:
    • Timely renewal of insurance premiums before expiry
    • Growth of Asset Finance loans
    • Maintaining Portfolio at Risk (PAR) below sector industry rates
    • Maintaining Non-Performing Loans (NPL) below sector industry rates
  • Organize educational seminars and workshops for existing and prospective customers to enhance customer loyalty
  • Conduct external environmental scanning to assess relevant economic and county trends, legislative and regulatory influences, key suppliers, markets, customers, and competitors that may affect Asset Finance customers' businesses
  • Conduct competitor analysis in the region and industry, and advise management on pricing and product offerings to maintain competitiveness and relevance
  • Cross-sell and advise on appropriate financial products and services
