Education and Professional Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or equivalent training
• Registered with the Radiation Protection Board of Kenya
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service orientation

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a busy radiology department

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiological examinations in line with hospital policies and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety and equipment integrity through proper preparation and daily quality checks
• Provide clear and accurate information to patients regarding imaging procedures
• Monitor patient condition throughout imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Liaise with clinicians to clarify imaging requests and prevent workflow errors
• Enforce radiation safety measures to protect patients, staff, and the public from unnecessary exposure
• Ensure timely availability of images to support prompt reporting and service delivery
• Undertake other radiography-related duties as assigned
