Officer, Business Development at CPF Consulting

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for driving business growth through marketing of all insurance products and supporting the execution of business strategy. The successful candidate will ensure achievement of revenue targets while delivering excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify leads and develop new business through proactive outreach and sales pitches
• Participate in product launches through regular visits and frequent communication with intermediaries and direct clients
• Market general and employee benefits products to potential clients
• Seek referrals for new clients and business opportunities
• Cross-sell additional policies to existing account holders
• Develop and maintain tender register, providing regular progress updates for management decision-making
• Provide information and support for social media platform updates
• Identify and communicate opportunities for brand and marketing initiatives
• Assist clients in ensuring timely claims processing
• Contribute to product development to ensure market relevance
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or Marketing
• Professional insurance qualifications: ACII or AIIK certification
• Professional membership with the Chartered Insurance Institute or Insurance Institute of Kenya

Required Experience

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in a brokerage insurance company
• Strong skills in tender preparation and submission
