Office Messenger - Nairobi at Ital Global

About the Role

Our client, a reputable construction and engineering company in Kenya, is seeking a dependable and committed Office Messenger to provide reliable, efficient, and timely messenger, clerical, and support services. This role ensures smooth office operations by handling deliveries, maintaining proper documentation flow, and supporting administrative functions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and deliver documents, mail, parcels, and other items within and outside the office
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of documents from banks, suppliers, partners, and clients
• Support filing, photocopying, scanning, and general clerical tasks as assigned
• Assist in maintaining office cleanliness, organization, and general office errands
• Run banking errands including depositing cheques, collecting statements, and delivering instructions
• Support procurement errands such as collecting quotations, delivering LPOs, and picking up office supplies
• Assist administrative staff in routine tasks when required
• Ensure proper documentation and logs for all deliveries and collections
• Maintain confidentiality and observe company protocols when handling documents
• Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or any related field
• Valid KCSE certificate
• At least 2 years of experience as an office messenger or office assistant, preferably in a corporate environment
• Basic knowledge of office procedures and clerical tasks
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to plan routes and deliver items efficiently
• Physically fit and able to manage errands throughout the day
• Familiarity with Nairobi routes is an added advantage
• High levels of honesty, reliability, and integrity
