Job Purpose
The Marketing Executive will support the Marketing function in delivering its objectives by recruiting students, marketing the University programmes, and advising on current market trends based on market surveys.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Student Recruitment
- Sell courses to prospective clients and meet monthly sales targets as agreed with the line manager
- Utilize various recruitment methods including activation through churches, schools, companies, and other channels
Market Surveys and Analysis
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities including:
- Business performance (registrations, enrollments, programs offered, pricing, facilities)
- Marketing strategies (advertisements, promotions)
- Expansion and growth activities (new branches, collaborations)
- New market entrants
- Collect market intelligence to identify new and potential market opportunities
- Assess demand, University brand positioning, and awareness levels
- Communicate findings and proposals to the Marketing Manager in a timely manner
Direct Marketing
- Ensure effective utilization of marketing materials including posters, fliers, and other promotional items
- Place marketing communication materials strategically and consistently in legally permitted locations that target appropriate market segments
- Maintain and manage all marketing materials
- Coordinate participation in events such as conferences, seminars, and exhibitions to promote University awareness and credentials
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all courses offered by the University
