Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Agriculture and Integrated Science at the Junior School level, delivering engaging, learner-centered lessons that foster understanding of scientific concepts and practical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, learner-centered lessons in Agriculture and Integrated Science, ensuring students understand scientific concepts
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching resources aligned with the curriculum and school standards
• Conduct hands-on experiments in the laboratory and practical demonstrations on the school farm to connect theory with practice
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and employ varied teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects
• Maintain accurate records and uphold school policies and professional standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Secondary Teaching Education, with subject specialization
• 5 years of relevant teaching experience
• TSC Registration
• Valid certificate of good conduct
