About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Internal Sales Executive to support our commercial growth. This role is critical in managing client inquiries, preparing competitive quotations, and supporting pricing strategies across air, sea, and road freight. The position works closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure timely, accurate, and value-driven logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Client Engagement
- Handle inbound sales inquiries and respond to clients promptly and professionally
- Prepare quotations and proposals in line with company pricing policies
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through proactive follow-ups
Pricing & Quotation Management
- Develop accurate and competitive freight rates for air, sea, and road shipments
- Liaise with carriers, agents, and internal teams to obtain optimal pricing
- Log, track, and systematically follow up on all quotations issued
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends
- Provide insights to management on rate movements and customer expectations
Operational Coordination
- Work closely with operations and customer service teams to support smooth shipment execution
- Assist in tender submissions and large project pricing exercises
Reporting & Performance
- Maintain sales, pricing, and quotation tracking reports for management review
- Monitor quotation conversion rates and identify opportunities for improvement
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or sales support
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Proactive, client-focused team player
