ICT Assistant III - 3 Posts at Kenya Rural Roads Authority

About the Role

This is an entry and training grade position. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a designated officer at the Kenya Rural Roads Authority in Nairobi.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Write and test simple computer programs according to instructions and specifications
• Assist in the implementation of computer systems
• Conduct basic training of users on ICT systems
• Undertake repairs and maintenance of ICT equipment and associated peripherals
• Install and configure computer systems
• Monitor the performance of ICT equipment
• Provide user support for applications and systems

Required Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• Diploma in one of the following fields from a recognized institution:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Communication and Technology (ICT)
  • Systems Administration
  • Business Information Technology
  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
