Overall Purpose of the Job
Assist in overseeing the implementation of Human Resource strategies, policies, and programs/work plans. Update records of staff training and development programs and support day-to-day Human Resource Department operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Human Resources in managing day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department
- Implement administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs within assigned business lines
- Maintain and generate accurate HR records and reports to guide decision-making and future planning
- Oversee and ensure all employee records are updated, and personnel files are securely maintained in both physical and electronic formats
- Monitor and update staff leave records on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in both physical and electronic systems
- Ensure staff contracts are current and up to date
- Coordinate timely submission of payroll changes and share promptly with the Payroll Officer after Human Resources Manager approval
- Coordinate the onboarding process to ensure new hires understand and subscribe to the company's vision, mission, values, approaches, policies, procedures, strategies, and operations
- Coordinate and provide relevant statistical information and data on recruitment activities and applicable recruitment metrics
- Coordinate performance appraisals and performance reviews, updating performance development or improvement plans to address performance gaps
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices
- Assist with the implementation of Learning & Development initiatives
- Closely liaise with line managers to identify, gather, and consolidate Training Needs Analysis
