## Title: Human Resource Manager – Performance Management

About the Role

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth at MSVL Group in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and implement performance management systems, KPIs, metrics, and feedback processes aligned to business strategy and compliant with employment laws
  • Lead annual and mid-year review cycles and manage the HRIS performance module
  • Run calibration sessions to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization
  • Coach managers and employees on performance practices, SMART goal setting, effective feedback, and review writing
  • Support Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) where needed
  • Link performance outcomes to training, succession planning, and compensation decisions
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics
  • Gather employee and manager feedback to continuously enhance processes
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in performance management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • CHRP certification
  • Minimum 10 years of HR experience
  • 7+ years designing and managing performance management systems

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation
  • Strategic thinker able to align performance with business goals
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret data and recommend solutions
  • Ability to manage complex, cyclical HR processes and annual review cycles
  • High integrity and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
