About the Role
Our client in the Manufacturing Industry is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the HR and administrative functions of the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient HR operations, compliance with labour laws, and smooth coordination between management and staff within a manufacturing environment. This position offers excellent opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation
- Assist in recruitment processes including sourcing, interviews, onboarding, and offboarding
- Prepare HR correspondence, reports, and employee letters
- Ensure compliance with Kenyan Labour Laws and internal company policies
- Support payroll preparation and maintain related records
- Handle employee queries and support staff welfare initiatives
- Support disciplinary processes and performance management documentation
- Assist in coordinating training and staff development activities
Requirements
- Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field
- At least 2 years' HR experience working in a manufacturing company
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of Kenyan Labour Laws and basic payroll processes
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
