## Title: HR and Administration Intern

Strategy and Vision

  • Actively support the values of Johanniter International and align work accordingly
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the global strategy of Johanniter International Assistance in your area of responsibility
  • Support the implementation of the country strategy in alignment with the global JIA strategy

HR-Related Tasks

  • Support staff recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements and conducting first-stage shortlisting
  • Assist with onboarding of new staff
  • Maintain HR tools and systems including staff contracts, leave planning and tracking, performance management, and immigration processes
  • Maintain personnel files to ensure they are up to date, complete, and well organized
  • Assist in filing of statutory documentation

Administration Tasks

Perform the following duties as requested by the HR & Administration Officer:

General Clerical Duties

  • Photocopying and scanning of documents
  • Draft emails and letters to staff and suppliers
  • File administration documents and correspondence

Messenger and Errand Duties

  • Purchase office internet and staff airtime; prepare cash liquidation documents for Finance
  • Coordinate with vendors for office supply purchases; prepare cash liquidations and supporting documents for Finance
  • Deliver documents to various offices as requested
  • Support management of country office facilities and ensure repairs, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance works are completed in a timely manner in accordance with lease agreement terms
  • Support the HR and Administration Officer with additional duties as needed
