## Title: Graduate Trainee – Legal & Private Wealth
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our legal and private wealth team in a graduate trainee capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents, presentations, reports, and correspondence
- Serve as a point of contact between the legal department and internal/external stakeholders, managing inquiries
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical files, ensuring easy retrieval of documents and compliance with legal retention policies
- Support legal projects by tracking milestones, gathering relevant documents, and coordinating with team members
- Conduct industry-related research, compiling information and preparing summaries as requested
- Handle expense reporting, monitor departmental budgets, and process invoices and reimbursements
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items for legal department meetings
- Prepare and deliver presentations on private wealth and trusts to various stakeholders
- Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities, forming partnerships, and planning growth in trust services
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law (preferred)
- 2 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate organization
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies including IRA, CMA, KRA, RBA, PPRB, BRS, and CBK
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of compliance and regulatory standards within securitization, real estate, and private wealth/trusts sectors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on confidentiality and professionalism
- Excellent attention to detail with strong multitasking and time-management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal certification or legal administrative experience
