Field Biomedical Technologists - Coast Regions. at Bliss Healthcare

Job Purpose

To install, train, adjust, maintain, repair, and provide technical support for medical equipment and other equipment assigned by your supervisor. This role focuses on planned preventive maintenance, curative maintenance, and predictive maintenance across assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Address biomedical equipment breakdowns from start to finish
• Perform calibration and routine preventive maintenance on equipment including hematology analyzers, chemistry analyzers, electrolyte analyzers, nursing equipment, and radiology equipment
• Troubleshoot biomedical equipment to identify faults
• Manage inventory for biomedical equipment at medical center level within your assigned region
• Maintain biomedical equipment files at medical center level
• Install, uninstall, service, and repair biomedical equipment
• Provide technical support for equipment breakdowns
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff on biomedical equipment
• Prepare daily and monthly breakdown reports for the department head
• Request replacement equipment as needed from the department head

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Biomedical Engineering
• Member of AMEK (Association of Medical Equipment Keepers)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Biomedical Engineering experience
