About the Role
Act Change Transform (Act) is seeking an Executive Assistant to support high-level stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and programme development across African governments, multilateral bodies, and philanthropic organizations.
Main Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement Strategy
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and engagement across African governments, multilateral bodies, philanthropic actors, and technical agencies
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Stakeholder Engagement Strategy and Contact Matrix (Due Month 1)
- Staff the CEO during high-level engagements, including programme reviews, fundraising events, networking sessions, and sector leader meetings
Strategic Communications & Materials Development
- Draft compelling communications materials including talking points, presentations, and reports for high-level engagements and partner outreach
- Develop concept notes, briefing documents, and policy narratives to position Kenyan CSOs leadership in PBCT, DGHR, and SNRM system strengthening (Due Monthly)
- Create tailored briefing and engagement materials for key policymakers and sector leaders to ensure alignment during fundraising and partnership events
Financial & Economic Analysis
- Conduct fiscal and macroeconomic analysis to inform the design of innovative funding mechanisms and assess the enabling environment for programme funding
- Analyze development financing sustainability, public investment trends, private sector partnerships, and macroeconomic risks relevant to project preparation and fundraising strategies
- Research and document global and local examples of innovative financing in ENRM, DGHR, and PBCT
Event Coordination & Convenings
- Identify and support participation in key regional, national, and global convenings, including KDCWG, DSWG, Devolution Conference, PBCT Convenings, Climate and Environment Convenings, Democracy and Human Rights Convenings, African Union CSOs Summits, and African Development Bank Annual CSOs Convenings
