About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced driver to join our team. You will be responsible for safely transporting authorized personnel and goods, maintaining vehicle standards, and providing reliable logistical support to staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport authorized personnel to designated locations as scheduled
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and maintained in good working condition
• Conduct daily vehicle checks including oil, water, battery, brakes, and tires
• Perform minor repairs and arrange for major repairs as needed
• Report any mechanical issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and service schedules
• Adhere to all traffic laws and organizational transport policies
• Assist in loading and unloading goods when required
• Ensure security and safety of staff during transit
• Respond promptly to transport requests and emergencies
• Provide logistical support to staff members
• Complete all required documentation accurately, such as manifests or delivery receipts
• Report any delays, accidents, or incidents immediately
• Comply with all safety regulations, guidelines, and organizational policies
• Participate in safety training programs as required
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 'O' level pass
• Valid driving license (categories B, C, D, or E) with a clean driving record
• Fluent in English (written and oral) and good command of Kiswahili
• At least 5 years' experience working in an NGO setting
