We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draught Technician with strong experience in computer- aided design, particularly AutoCAD, to support the design and documentation of electrical power distribution systems. The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchboards and be capable of producing accurate Single Line Dia- grams (SLDs) and related electrical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD, including layouts, schematics, and As-Built (construction drawings).
- Design and draft LV and MV switchboards, ensuring compliance with applicable stand- ards and project specifications.
- Develop and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for LV and MV electrical systems.
- Interpret electrical design requirements, technical specifications, and engineering cal- culations.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to en- sure design accuracy and completeness.
- Revise and update drawings based on design changes, site feedback, or client require- ments.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and company drafting procedures.
- Maintain organized drawing records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Draughting, or a related field.
- A minimum 3 years' experience in a similar capacity
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with other CAD tools is an advantage). Demonstrated experience in LV and MV board design.
- Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems and components.
- Ability to produce clear and accurate Single Line Diagrams.
- Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Authorised dealers of Huawei inverters, Jinko Solar panels, Schneider partner for switchboards and control panels,
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or utility electrical projects.
- Knowledge of panel manufacturing or switchgear assembly processes.
- Basic understanding of protection schemes and power system layouts.
