## Title: Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology

Africa Nazarene University is expanding its dynamic team and seeking exceptional talent to join as an Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology.

At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a Senior Lecturer or Senior Researcher, OR six (6) years of senior research/industry experience
Minimum of forty-eight (48) publication points as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least thirty-two (32) must be from peer-reviewed scholarly journals
National, regional, and international recognition for research
Supervised at least four (4) post-graduate students to completion, including at least one doctoral student
Demonstrated success in attracting research funds as a Senior Lecturer or Senior Research Fellow

Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of high-quality curriculum
Review curriculum and course outlines; develop course and lesson plans
Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
Employ various teaching methods (field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, off-class activities, etc.) to enhance student learning and deliver course content
Develop learning assessment plans
Supervise and guide undergraduate students, graduate students, internship, and research work
Conduct research in specialist areas and publish findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media
Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
Advise students on academic, career, and related issues as required
Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, and industrial linkages visits
Participate in departmental administrative and field operations and programs
