About the Consultancy

Concern Worldwide seeks a qualified videography and photography consultant to provide high-quality visual and audio documentation services. The consultant will capture project activities, community voices, and programme outcomes across all project sites within Machakos County, Kenya.

Purpose

The purpose of this consultancy is to produce professional photography and videography content that highlights the work and impact of the Triple M Project, generating usable material for reporting, visibility, learning, and communication.

Key Objectives

• Capture quality visual and audio material that represents the work and impact of the Triple M Project
• Provide usable content for reporting, visibility, learning, and communication

Scope of Work and Tasks

• Liaise with Concern staff to understand priorities, sites, and target outputs
• Visit assigned project sites within Machakos County as scheduled
• Capture high-quality photographs and short videos (1–3 minutes), including interviews and activity footage
• Conduct interviews in Kamba, Kiswahili, or English as appropriate
• Prepare short written profiles of interviewees and caption information for all photographs
• Provide both raw files and edited versions of photos and videos
• Ensure all content is ethically collected and aligned with safeguarding requirements
• Submit final outputs within the agreed timeframe

Deliverables

The consultant will deliver:

• A set of high-resolution photographs organised by activity and location
• A collection of short, edited videos (1–3 minutes each) suitable for social media and reporting
• Raw footage and raw photographs
• Brief written profiles of interviewees and captions for all images
• A short documentation note summarising activities completed

Essential Qualifications

• Proven experience in videography and photography for development, humanitarian, or community-focused projects
• Ability to communicate fluently in Kamba, Kiswahili, and English
