An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Position Overview:
  • The role-holder provides comprehensive Oral Care to patients of all ages, including conducting examinations, preventive treatments, and basic dental procedures.in line with hospital policies and prevailing regulations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive oral examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Provide a range of preventive and basic dental treatments, such as cleanings, fluoride applications and minor fillings.
  • Take X-rays as needed to diagnose dental problems.
  • Refer patients to specialists for more complex dental procedures.
  • Participate in community outreach programs, including health education sessions in schools, churches, and community centres.
  • Raise awareness about the importance of oral health and promote healthy oral hygiene practices.
  • Collaborate with local health authorities and community leaders to develop and implement oral health initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned time to time
Education: /Qualification
  • Diploma in community oral health or related field from a recognized institution
  • Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Oral Health Officer or related field
