## Title: Chief Finance and Operations Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Chief Finance and Operations Officer (CFOO) to join Rosslyn Academy in Nairobi, Kenya. This senior leadership position reports to the Superintendent and serves as a member of the Executive Team, responsible for driving the school's financial strategy, operational excellence, and strategic mission.

  • Assess departmental needs and use data to make decisions and plan for improvement
  • Demonstrate knowledge and use effective team-building strategies
  • Employ leadership strategies that empower and motivate staff, students, and parents

Strategy

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the School's strategic mission, led by the Superintendent
  • Develop and implement financial and operational strategies, policies, and plans that underpin organisational objectives
  • Oversee the implementation of the campus master plan as finances allow

Leadership and Management

  • Serve as a member of the Rosslyn Academy Executive Team
  • Lead and inspire staff, bringing out the best in them and facilitating strong working relationships within support staff and throughout the school
  • Manage the performance of direct reports utilizing the Rosslyn Academy appraisal system
  • Support the training and professional development of direct reports and wider support staff
  • Adhere to the leadership standards as described in the Leadership domains of the Rosslyn Academy Playbook
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
