About the Position

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. The Chief Executive Officer will report to the Governing Council and be responsible for implementing the Council's decisions in a results-oriented and timely manner to achieve organizational goals, objectives, and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to achieve the organization's renewed mission and guarantee financial sustainability
• Ensure efficient running of the affairs of the Governing Council and General Meetings with utmost diligence and efficiency
• Serve as an effective spokesperson on matters of organizational policy and implementation
• Promote efficiency, effectiveness, and quality across all mechanisms
• Lead lobbying efforts towards a strong policy and legal framework that supports growth of the effective Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism
• Secure sustainable funding through membership, programs, and partnerships to guarantee financial sustainability
• Fulfill any other responsibilities necessary to achieve organizational objectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Law, Banking, Finance, Financial Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in senior-level management in the banking or finance sector
• Current membership as a practicing professional with a relevant professional body

Required Experience and Expertise

• Demonstrable expertise in non-profit associations, credit information, banking, governance, and related fields
• Proven ability to build and manage complex relationships and build consensus among diverse stakeholders with disparate and sometimes competing interests
• Results-oriented and self-driven leadership with a strong track record in strategy formulation, managing change, organizational growth, and performance management
