## Title: Business Development Manager – ICT Digital Solutions

About the Role

Farsight Africa Group is seeking a qualified Business Development Manager to drive growth in ICT digital solutions across the region. You will be responsible for identifying and winning new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and consistently meeting revenue targets in complex, enterprise technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles for enterprise technology, software platforms, and digital solutions targeting both private and public sector clients
  • Develop and execute creative sales and go-to-market strategies tailored to regional markets and diverse client needs
  • Manage large, multi-stakeholder sales processes and navigate competitive bidding environments
  • Lead proposal development, manage RFPs, and guide clients through tendering and procurement procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders including government officials, development finance institutions (DFIs), and enterprise leaders
  • Develop sound business cases, forecast opportunities, and support strategic decision-making through commercial analysis
  • Guide and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve sales performance targets
  • Champion ICT and digital transformation initiatives, particularly those aligned with multilateral organization programmes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent (mandatory)
  • Master's degree in Business, ICT, Marketing, or a related Information Systems field (preferred)
  • Professional certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, or Cisco

Required Experience & Expertise

  • Minimum 5 years in ICT solutions business development with a proven track record of winning business and consistently meeting revenue targets
  • Demonstrated experience selling enterprise technology and digital solutions to both private and public sectors
  • Strong understanding of RFPs, tendering, and procurement procedures within Africa
  • Prior engagement with multilateral organizations and development partners, particularly on ICT or digital transformation initiatives
  • Solid commercial awareness and analytical capability to support strategic business decisions

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide, motivate teams, and collaborate across cross-functional units
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
  • Proactive, ambitious, and entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to pursue opportunities and secure major deals
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking capabilities
