About the Position

The University of Nairobi is seeking qualified candidates for 5 posts of Assistant Internal Auditor, Grade CD.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Internal Auditor, you will support the internal audit function and work collaboratively with audit and finance teams to ensure organizational compliance and financial integrity.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field from a recognized university
• CPA 3 or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of post-qualification experience in auditing or accounting
• Previous experience as an Internal Auditor or Accountant in Grade A/B (5/6)

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals
• Computer literacy and proficiency with computer-assisted audit techniques (CAAT)
• Knowledge of risk assessment and management procedures (advantageous)
