About the Role
Africa Nazarene University is seeking a dedicated volunteer instructor to contribute to its Supply Chain Management program. You will join a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality education and developing the next generation of supply chain professionals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and implement high-quality curriculum for supply chain management courses
- Review and refine curriculum and course outlines; develop comprehensive course and lesson plans
- Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
- Employ diverse teaching methods including field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off-class activities to enhance student learning
- Develop learning assessment plans and evaluation strategies
- Supervise and guide undergraduate and graduate students, as well as internship and research work
- Participate in departmental research and conduct research in specialist areas
- Publish research findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media
- Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
- Advise students on academic, career, and related matters
- Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, and participate in industrial linkages and market outreach visits
- Participate in departmental administrative, field operations, and program activities
Academic and Professional Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field aligned with supply chain management or related domain
- Alternatively: Master's degree in a relevant field with PhD candidacy at the final stage (data collection phase)
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant industry experience in supply chain management
