About the Role

Royal Mabati Factory Ltd is seeking a Structural Engineer Intern to support our engineering team in designing innovative, safe, and efficient roofing and structural solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual eager to launch their career in structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing structural design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or STAAD.Pro
• Support load analysis and design calculations under supervision
• Participate in project scheduling, documentation, and coordination with suppliers and site teams
• Conduct site visits to collect field data, observe construction progress, and report findings
• Research new materials, structural technologies, and sustainability solutions
• Maintain organized engineering documentation and support regulatory compliance processes
• Learn directly from senior engineers through mentorship and practical project exposure

Required Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate with a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Basic understanding of structural design principles and engineering standards (BS, Eurocode, etc.)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Desired Skills & Experience

• Exposure to Revit, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong time management skills
