Stock Controller at Nexus Staffing Solutions

About the Role

Our client, a well-established restaurant chain operating across Nairobi, is seeking to recruit a Stock Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring proper stock management, cost control, and accountability across all restaurant branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across multiple outlets
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances
• Record daily stock movements (receipts, transfers, issues, and returns)
• Verify the quality and quantity of supplies received
• Support purchasing processes by preparing stock reports and reorder requests
• Ensure compliance with company stock management procedures
• Work closely with kitchen and service teams to minimize wastage and optimize stock usage

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
• At least 2 years' experience in a stock control or inventory role (preferably in hospitality)
• Proficiency in MS Excel or inventory management software
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Attention to detail and high integrity
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in inventory or stock management within a busy restaurant, hotel, or retail environment.
