Site Health & Safety Officer at Session Blue Contractors

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Site Health & Safety Officer to facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines and advise on minimizing hazards in upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines on site
• Conduct daily monitoring to ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPEs) by all workers
• Maintain comprehensive records of safety inventories and PPE usage and accountability
• Identify and report daily on-site concerns that may pose potential hazards
• Eliminate physical hazards through proper housekeeping and site maintenance
• Maintain daily records of workers and employees present on site
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly safety and health reports, injury logs, and incident documentation
• Report daily on site compliance, incidents, and accidents to the Health and Safety Officer
• Manage the provision of PPEs and account for their usage

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in construction site safety
• Proven competency in handling safety and health aspects on construction sites
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• NEBOSH certificate
• Basic training in First Aid or Fire Safety
