## Title: Senior People & Culture Partner
Position Overview
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within United Bible Societies in Nairobi, Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partner for Leaders and Client Groups
- Serve as first-level consultant and initial point of contact with leaders and line managers to identify strategic people needs such as succession planning and team culture
- Act as a thought partner with leaders and managers to improve people-related priorities
- Assist leaders and managers with strategic planning and forecasting regarding people management
- Provide guidance on the full range of People & Culture/HR activities aligned with business rhythm and service delivery
- Coach leaders and managers on HR and people management processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning
- Maintain current understanding of organizational strategy, priorities, and people-related issues as a valued member of assigned teams
Change Agent for Organizational Development
- Advise leaders on all aspects of organizational development and change management
- Collaborate with leaders and managers in designing organizational structures, job roles, and specifications
- Function as the HR point person for leaders and managers undergoing organizational restructures, in consultation with the Director of People
- Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on employees and manage transitions to minimize business disruption
- Advise leaders on the development and ongoing evolution of departmental people plans
- Partner collaboratively with leaders and managers to identify HR process and practice improvements
Employee Champion
- Act as a single point of contact and intermediary for employees, leaders, and managers within assigned teams
- Direct employees to appropriate People Team members and resources
