## Title: Senior Associate – Real Estate, Banking & Finance

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Senior Associate in Real Estate, Banking & Finance.

Manage client matters independently, including supervision of junior lawyers
Handle real estate transactions, conveyancing, property development, and land-related due diligence
Provide advisory services in banking, finance, securities, and lending transactions
Ensure perfection of securities and regulatory compliance
Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including facility agreements, charges, leases, and joint venture agreements
Execute sale and purchase transactions and commercial leases
Support business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery

LL.B Degree with at least Second Class Upper Division from a recognized university
Admission to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid Practising Certificate
Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant post-admission experience in a reputable law firm

Proven experience in real estate transactions, conveyancing, property development, and land-related due diligence
Strong advisory experience in banking, finance, securities, and lending transactions
Proven track record acting for banks, financial institutions, and property developers
Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents
Working knowledge of bank securities perfection processes
Working knowledge of conveyancing, court rules, and land registry procedures
Strong understanding of Kenyan real estate law and conveyancing procedures
Excellent legal drafting, research, analytical, and negotiation skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, and client-relationship management abilities
Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and keen attention to detail
