About the Role

Durham International Schools is recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified teacher with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience
• Hold a valid Teacher Services Commission Certificate (if applying from Kenya) or a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent qualification (for overseas applicants)
• Hold a minimum Level 5 qualification in Specific Learning Difficulties
• Be an enthusiastic and passionate educator
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with students, colleagues, and parents
• Be adventurous, adaptable, and excited by new experiences
