About the Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our research team at the Samburu Research Centre.

Eligibility Requirements

This opportunity is open to Kenyan students with one of the following qualifications:

• BSc in Zoology, Botany, Environmental Sciences, or GIS
• Diploma in Wildlife Management/Conservation from WRTI (or equivalent)

Additionally, applicants must have:

• At least one previous experience in fieldwork, including as part of academic training
• Previous attachment and/or internship with another conservation organization (bonus)

Required Skills

• English proficiency
• Scientific writing experience in English (e.g., BSc project)
• Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office package
• Ability to conduct basic statistics and produce graphs in Excel

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of GIS environments
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis software
