About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our sales team. This position focuses on identifying new business opportunities and building strong customer relationships to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Engage and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing suitable product/service solutions
- Present, promote, and demonstrate products/services to potential and existing clients
- Achieve sales targets and report performance, including preparing sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or a related customer-facing role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships with a positive, professional attitude
- Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Basic computer skills, including CRM tools, email, and reporting
- Good understanding of the company's products/services or willingness to learn quickly
- Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a monthly retainer of KES 15,000 plus 10% commission based on the value of new business generated. This structure ensures stable earnings while rewarding strong performance.
Contract Terms
Initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and overall company needs. This allows both the company and the salesperson to evaluate fit, performance, and long-term potential.
Performance Expectations
The salesperson is expected to actively bring in new business, with commissions tied directly to the value of clients and sales they secure.
