We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates. Overall Purpose:
  • Responsible for generation of revenue and overall success of the assigned vehicle brand
Mission:
  • Improve and grow the business unit by fostering and developing relationships with customers, suppliers and other partners.
  • Improve profitability of the business unit through careful strategic planning and positioning
Activities
  • Represent our Brand, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
  • Achieve Company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance.
  • Oversee the Sales unit of the Brand to ensure Company quotas and standards are met
  • Develop and review forecasts and profits across departments under the Brand.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends related to Brand performance
  • Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends national and regional reach
  • Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them
  • Understand competitors, their strategies and counter-tactics towards improving positioning of the Brand.
  • Champion and oversee adherence to Brand standards for all activities related to the Brand.
  • Collaborate with other business units on developing, recommending and executing both short and long-range advertising plans, sales promotions, staffing needs, lease promotions and compensation plans.
  • Attend to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained and maintained.
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
  • Assist in recruitment of personnel under the Brand, set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfil them
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective tactics to meet revenue objectives.
  • Work with other business unit managers to ensure appropriate resource allocation for priority business opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in business administration, with focus on sales or related qualification
  • 5+ years in the automotive industry, with experience in premium and/or luxury vehicle sales and sales management
