Retail Life Bancassurance Sales Officers - Upperhill at CIC Insurance

Position Overview

This is a full-time on-site position for a Retail Life Bancassurance Sales Officer. You will be based at one of our branches including: Kimathi, Aga Khan Walk, Limuru, Ruaka, Kitengela, Mombasa Road, Upperhill, Nairobi Business Centre, Lavington, Kajiado, Ngong, Kangemi, Kibwezi, Kimana, Emali, or Wote.

Role Description

You will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and servicing clients by promoting life insurance and related financial products. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Achieving sales targets
• Conducting market research
• Providing reliable advice to clients on suitable insurance solutions
• Preparing reports and handling customer queries
• Collaborating with different teams within the company to enhance service delivery

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
• Insurance or marketing certification, diploma, or degree

Required Skills and Competencies

• Sales and marketing skills, including a strong ability to close sales and meet set targets
• Customer relationship management and interpersonal communication skills to build trust and maintain strong client relationships
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct market research and recommend tailored solutions to clients
• Proficiency in time management and goal setting
• Professional ethics in all business dealings
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in sales or insurance
