Resource Mobilization Officer

About the Role

St. Paul's University is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a Resource Mobilization Officer to support the institution's resource mobilization strategy. The successful candidate will develop and deliver strategies that create new partnerships and funding streams while maintaining strong relationships with supporters and donors.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategic and proactive resource mobilization efforts
• Develop and implement Resource Mobilization strategies
• Proactively identify and track donor opportunities
• Facilitate donor engagement and improve donor visibility
• Support development and sharing of marketing materials
• Coordinate proposal development for large and strategic funding opportunities
• Manage donor reporting and project monitoring and evaluation
• Handle specific donor requirements reporting and budget tracer reporting
• Identify and nurture partnership opportunities to maximize collective impact
• Manage project administration and donor relationship management

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, Finance, or any other relevant field
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience in Fundraising, Grant Writing, and Networking
• Registration with the relevant professional body
• Demonstrated digital competence in responsible use of digital tools and platforms to support resource mobilization activities, including:
  • Donor and stakeholder databases
  • Proposal development and reporting tools
  • Online fundraising and communication platforms
  • Data analysis and presentation software
  • Electronic correspondence and virtual engagement tools
• Demonstrated commitment to data accuracy, confidentiality, ethical standards, and compliance with institutional policies

Advantageous Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Strategic Plan 2025–2030 and ability to support its implementation
