Position Overview

Embu University College invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Professor in the Law department.

Required Qualifications

• Earned PhD degree in a relevant area of law specialization
• Minimum twelve (12) years of university teaching experience, with at least three (3) years as a full-time Associate Professor

Academic Requirements

• Minimum sixty (60) publication points, with at least forty (40) points from articles in refereed scholarly journals since appointment as Associate Professor
• Successful supervision to completion of at least six (6) Master's degree students and two (2) PhD students since appointment as Associate Professor

Research and Professional Experience

• Demonstrated success in securing at least two (2) research grants since appointment as Associate Professor
• Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops
• Evidence of active participation and leadership in university activities
• Evidence of continued research activities
