Occupational Safety Health and Environment (OSHE) Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies and programs
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards
• Train staff on occupational safety, health practices, and emergency procedures
• Ensure full compliance with applicable OSH laws and regulations
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions
• Oversee equipment safety maintenance, housekeeping standards, and safe environmental management
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and activities
• Promote a safety culture among staff

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in hospitality management, with exposure to events management
• Strong leadership skills, capable of managing multiple teams across different locations
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and service standards
• Good organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously
